Well, it is after Labor Day now, but you could probably still wear white if you wanted to! It is hot out STILL!
Just the other day I heard a story about a dog that was outside for only 30 minutes and it passed away from complications of heat stroke. Yes, it is that hot out. Yes, even in the evening.
So, even though it is creeping closer to fall, keep an eye on your dogs. I know there are lots of fun activities going on and you want to take your dog. But please, think before you do!
If your dog does become overheated, take it inside immediately! Wrap a wet towel around their middle and place them in front of a fan. This should stabilize your dog long enough for you to transport them to a vet!
