Flashback Thursday! Remembering fondly Precious my dynamic Shih Tzu. When Precious came to share my home I wasn’t thinking that she would lead me into a new career! Precious was the reason for Guardian Pet Sitters®. She knew staying “at home” was for her! She tried other alternatives when I was away but let me know she was not happy. She showed me how happy she was staying at home–when I arrived home from a business trip she was asleep next to the pet sitter on the couch, she woke up and looked at me and went back to sleep. I wasn’t missed 🙁 Do you know how devastated I was? But then I realized that is what I wanted, for her to be happy and content whether I was home or not. She was the first canine on the Guardian Pet Sitters® “Canine Board Of Directors”! It is truly amazing how pets can make a difference in you life! Precious was a part of my life for 14 years! This is our first picture together in 1986. Guardian Pet Sitters® started in 1992.
